How do bookstores determine the prices for their book products?
It is established that bookstores are oligopolistic. Oligopolistic industries are price takers and not price dictaters. So how do bookstores determine the prices for their book products? Is there a SRP, standard retail price, that distributors tell them (the bookstores) to follow? What are the mechanics for instituting a price for a book?
what i meant was, before distributors release the book, how do bookstores determine the price of their books…. pls read and analyze the question first before giving out irrelevant answers that does not have anything to do with economics…
Bookkeeping Question for people know as Independent Distributors?
I’m new to the world of direct selling. I picked up a book on bookkeeping. The books talks about “Cash” or “Accrual” accounting. Which is the one Independent Distributors use? My understanding of this type of home business is considered “direct selling”. I’m planning on getting commisions through a web page and buying product at a discount (keeping inventory on hand) and reselling at the market price.
Thanks for your imput.
Where to promote my book “Preparing for the Worst: A Comprehensive Guide to Protecting Your Family” Online?
I wrote my book, “Preparing for the Worst: A Comprehensive Guide to Protecting Your Family from Terrorist Attacks, Natural Disasters, and Other Catastrophes” for typical American families, college students, business travelers, corporate executive management personnel, emergency first responders, school students and administrators, and local government officials responsible for public safety and emergency management. I am not a “doomsayer” and It’s not about creating fear.
